February Reading Wrap Up

Happy March!

I hope you all had a cozy February filled with reading! I am finding that I’m have to really drag myself through this late winter blah weather and the dumpster fires that seem to pop up only when inconvenient. Even with the drudgery, I have had a really great reading month! So far, 2023 is starting to look like a mystery reads heavy year. I picked up Richard Osman after The Thursday Murder Club was recommended by a librarian and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been recommending it to everyone recently and I’m not the least bit sorry!

Posts on the blog have been few and far between as I’ve been doing those little deep clean things that have to be done before selling our house and moving in a few months. I’m hoping to schedule out some posts to help out when adulting becomes overwhelming!

Here are the non-WWW Wednesday posts from February:

As always, the graphs below are pulled from my Storygraph stats. If you haven’t had a chance to check Storygraph out, I highly recommend it! And let me know if you are on there and want to link up!

February Graphs

February Moods read
Pie graph displaying "moods" read

February shows a slight change from the dark and adventurous reads in January to mysterious, emotional, and funny reads. Lighthearted and adventurous.

Genres Read
Graph depicting genres read in January. Romance and Fantasy leading

Genre-wise, romance is neck and neck with mystery this month! That almost never happens! I’m reading more graphic novels and childrens books with the intent to review them more.

Star Ratings february
Graph that shows average rating of 3.71 for February

Average rating in February is a little higher than the 3.2 from January. I had some solid reads and only one that I wasn’t really a fan of.
