Currently Reading
I am so thrilled with all my books that I’m reading at the moment! I’m tearing through The Man Who Died Twice. I love tracking all the moving pieces in Osman’s work and I’m happy to be visiting the Thursday Murder Club again so soon! I’m also savoring my ARC of The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen (out on Mar 7!). Gareth and Joss have been so delightful with just the right amount of angst. It has been a joy to read!
I’m currently listening re-listening to H. Jon Benjamin’s Failure Is An Option while I keep on with the pre-sale deep clean of our house. This is my third time listening so it’s easy listening at this point but still very funny!
Recently Finished
I finished my ALC of The Angel Maker earlier this week and was a little underwhelmed. North tried too hard to be clever and too many loose ends were left flapping in the breeze.
I also finished Iron Kissed in my effort to chip away at the Mercy Thompson series. There is an odd lack of… urgency in these books when I compare it to Kate Daniels. I am still enjoying them and I’m glad the love triangle is resolving. I’ve got the next two books waiting for me so those will be on deck shortly.
What Will I Read Next?
I will continue on with the Mercy Thompson series since I have physical library books of books #4 and #5. I also picked up two free months of KU so I plan on reading a bunch of those titles over the next few weeks including CM Nascosta’s Marble Marquis! I will probably bounce around though so these are just high on the potential TBR.
