Currently Reading
I’m in the final chapters of Exiles and it has been such a great read/listen! I finished my last Romanceopoly read so I have rolled again and landed on Courtship Row: pick a historical romance with a clinch cover. Luckily, I had just grabbed The Duchess Deal from the library! I’ve started McFarlane’s Mad About You and it is entertaining so far. McFarlane always manage to punch me in the gut though so I’m bracing for the entirety of the book.
Recently Finished
I finished The Duke Who Didn’t for BFF’s House for Romanceopoly! A super sweet, childhood friends to lovers story that was low on the angst, heaps of amusing banter, and a delightful cinnamon hero. Milan gave us lots of chuckles in this lower steam romance. I picked up Lord Dashwood Missed Out on a whim from the library on Monday and it was a fun way to pass the time. I have only read the Spindle Cove novellas so far oddly enough so maybe its time to remedy that!
Last, Mr. B and I finished our read aloud reread of All Systems Red and will likely be starting up Artificial Condition over the next week.
What Will I Read Next?
Again, as soon as Exiles wraps up I will be listening to The Angel Maker by Alex North. I will be diving into some contemporary romance with an impulse grab of Annika Martin’s Butt-Dialing the Billionaire. I also have library copy of Bears Behaving Badly that looks fun! Its been a hot minute since I read a shifter romance so fingers-crossed this one is good!
