Currently Reading
These are the books I’m actively reading at the moment. I am LOVING The Wake-Up Call by Beth O’Leary. I haven’t read anything of hers since The Flatshare (one of my absolute favorites) and I’m kicking myself for letting her books get pushed to the side. I’m also reading The Dark King and it is delightfully spicy so far. Finally, I am slowly reading The Witches of Bone Hill and keep putting it to the side when it gets too late at night. I may be a bit of a chicken. Its intriguing so far but I’m not far enough in to make a judgement yet.
Recently Finished
I’m embarassed to say that I finally just got around to finishing Just Like Magic. It was cute and funny but it is absolutely one of those books that I have to be in the mood for. It is heavy on the cringe (think first couple episodes of Schitt’s Creek cringe and entitlement) but after 30% I was really enjoying the ride.
I snuck in Earls Prize Curves to my reading on Monday and tore through it. A quick, steamy read that reminded me of Joanna Shupe’s My Dirty Duke but not as steamy somehow.
What Will I Read Next?
I’m never truly sure what will end up on my reading agenda but these I’m almost positive I’ll get to. I have a physical copy of It Happened One Summer from the library that I need to get to. The Ex-Mas Holidays comes out 26 Sept so I need to get that read and reviewed. Also, my book club picked Haunting Adeline to read so I’ll steel myself and pick that up too.
