WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam from Taking on a World of Words. The three questions to answer are:

1. What are you currently reading?
2. What did you recently finish reading?
3. What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

I’m currently reading these three here. I have a library copy of The House Across the Lake and I’m slowly trudging through it. Every time I put it down though it gets a little harder to pick up the next time. I’m also tearing through Only When It’s Us by Chloe Liese and it is SO stinking cute and hearting warming with just the right amount of new adult angst. Finally, I’m reading and listening to Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Torzs. This is one of those very overdue arcs but I’m glad I waited as I’ve really been able to sink into the story and enjoy it this time around!

Recently Finished

This past week I finished my copy of The Amish Wife by Gregg Olsen (ebook and audiobook) and it wasn’t my favorite. This case was still “open” when the book went to publish and it felt heavy on the circumstantial and second hand accounts that may or may not be verifiable. I also binged Another Damned Darling and The Dare this week and I’m excited to have found a couple new to me authors that I enjoyed!

What Will I Read Next?

I am continuing in my efforts to clear out started but unfinished netgalley arcs so I’m going to tackle Beth O’Leary’s The Wake Up Call (I paused right around the third act break up because I couldn’t handle it in that moment) and I am going to finally read City of Bones by Martha Wells. Last, I have a library copy (physical and audiobook) of A Spindle Splintered that I need to finish and return.

What have you been reading? Have you read any of these?
