Read My Lips is the first book in Riley’s new Riches and Royals series. I loved the Undercover Cat cozy series and was excited to dig in to some disguised billionaires. Bateman had me hooked from the first page. I love a good enemies-to-lovers, and throwing in the childhood archenemy and a heroine with an atypical hobby for the time (archaeologist) and I’m not going anywhere. There is something about the Sunshine Vicram series that just makes me happy and cozy. It has mystery, a bit of fated romance, Gilmore girls-esque mother-daughter banter and love, endearing town residents, all with a bit of tension and danger to finish it off.
